We assist clients with environmental regulatory compliance, underground and above ground storage tank issues, spills and cleanups, property acquisition including Phase I and Phase II investigations, as well as civil liability and administrative enforcement and penalty proceedings.

In the area of agricultural environmental law, we advise producers and agricultural businesses in complying with Iowa DNR and U.S. EPA regulations, in addition to assisting clients in enforcement actions brought by these agencies and the Iowa Attorney General. We also assist our farm organization clients with monitoring and commenting on proposed environmental regulations. We represent producers in defending nuisance lawsuits and counsel producers and farm organizations on steps producers can take to try to avoid nuisance suits.
